LUXE et al are delighted to announce that Solido Interior Design srl have been shortlisted for an Interior Design – Power Yacht Award in The International Yacht and Aviation Awards 2016
Eight represents the balance between functionality and luxury, tradition and innovation. The yacht stands out for the outline elegance, the clean lines, the attention to details, as well as a fine blend between classical style and highly original solutions. Eight arises from a shared passion, love, and a mutual way of thinking. Every single space, furniture and accessory has been redesigned following handcrafted methods and using the finest materials in a combination of functionality, class and style. Spaces have a contemporary and original décor, and a unifying leitmotif pervading the different areas, characterized by extremely clean and harmonious lines, but, at the same time powerful and sophisticated in the clever combination of wood and fine leathers, glass assembled with inner copper foils, metal finely processed and rare marbles.
The internal areas have been completely redesigned, removing the existing walls that sacrificed the brightness, the view, the livability of each environment, favouring thus an open space that creates both a convivial and relaxing atmosphere. However, if necessary, thanks to blackout technologies, it offers all guests privacy when needed. Everything helps to create a perfect continuity between natural and artificial, external and internal, domestic and marine dimension, in a place where the guest can establish his or her own boundaries.
Eight’s interiors are characterized by chromatic, neutral, plain tones, which create the relaxing atmosphere that reigns on the decks, giving uniformity to spaces and emphasizing the search for minimalism and sophistication that led all the choices in the project implementation. Large glass surfaces that create a perfect continuity between natural and artificial, external and internal, domestic and marine dimension, in a place where the ship owner can establish his own boundaries.
